Task status & reporting

Task status and reporting — Task status & reporting
The problem

When no one can see how long work has been sitting, the stuck cases stay invisible — until a client complains or the regulator asks.

In February 2025 the FCA reviewed ongoing advice services at 22 of the largest advice firms and named “inadequate record-keeping to make sure firms can evidence delivery of their services” as a poor practice. Firms were asked to check, back to 2018, whether they could show the service was delivered.

“I can’t see what’s stuck, or who I need to chase.”

— Operations manager

“Cases sit for weeks and nobody notices until the client calls.”

What we do

The solution

A live view of every task and project in Plannr — what’s stuck, who owns it, and how each stage compares to the norm.

Task status and reporting — The solution
A live picture, not a manual pull

Reads the status of every task and project in Plannr automatically — no one spends a morning building the report by hand.

Task status and reporting — A live picture, not a manual pull
What to chase, and who to chase

Surfaces the stuck and overdue items alongside the person responsible, so nothing sits unowned.

Task status and reporting — What to chase, and who to chase
Average time-in-status, compared

Measures how long each task has sat at a stage against the norm, so bottlenecks and outliers stand out at a glance.

Task status and reporting — Average time-in-status, compared
Defensible for compliance

Gives compliance an evidenced operational view and management real control — the record the regulator expects.
